Industrial Radiography Associates Degree

Industrial radiography is quite often called nondestructive testing. In this case, radiation is used to inspect pipes, walls, and a variety of structures to look for defects. Entry requirements:

Students must have completed college preparatory curriculum, including four years of writing and reading intensive English and history/social sciences; 3 years college preparatory mathematics, at least through algebra I and lab science; 2 years of foreign language. Many students take pre-calculus, calculus or AP calculus as juniors or seniors. Applicants are evaluated based on the demands of their secondary school curriculum, grades earned, rank in class, standardized test scores, writing ability, teacher and counselor recommendations, and academic growth. They must possess standardized test scores, such as the SAT and ACT. All applicants must graduate from a recognized secondary school or earn a recognized high school equivalency certificate (GED) prior to matriculating at Champlain. Home-schooled applicants must submit GED scores or SAT II scores in two different disciplines.
